We’ve recently added to our management team with the appointment of new Contracts Manager, Dave Coles.
As part of his role and responsibilities, Dave will oversee and manage all of our site managers as well as coordinate the range of subcontractors used on our new developments
He is also responsible for the programming of developments, overarching company health and safety procedures and policies and, producing monthly reports across all these areas.
Dave’s past experience includes roles with Barratt Homes, Stewart Milne Homes, Fairclough Homes and Persimmon Homes, where he worked his way from Site Manager to Project Manager before eventually taking on a Contracts Manager role with Persimmon.
When asked why he made the move to Fairgrove Homes, Dave said, “I loved the look and feel of the company because it is a small, family run business that cares about building quality, new homes,”.
“Despite it being early days, I can already see that everyone at Fairgrove is working towards the same goal. There’s no ‘I’ in team here, it’s a team effort with an open door policy whereby everyone is able to speak to company directors and management without feeling threatened. All ideas are heard, listened to and taken on board,” added Dave.
He continued, “I already feel incredibly comfortable and I hope to enjoy many great years with Fairgrove Homes going forward.”
