Ilkeston, Derbyshire [Date to be added] Ilkeston-based Eagle Security has picked up a significant prize at Fairgrove Homes’ annual awards evening. Held at Derby Conference Centre, the awards were established to recognise and reward the dedication and commitment of Fairgrove’s key suppliers.
The family firm, which scooped its award in Fairgrove’s sub-contractor category, has been providing security and fire safety equipment to companies and home owners for 25 years, and has built a reputation for high quality work finished to deadline. “We’ve been working with Fairgrove ever since it was established,” says Jack Golds, managing director of Eagle Security. “They’re a great local business to work for, which makes our job much easier.”
Speaking before the award was presented, Steve Midgley, managing director of Fairgrove, said: “Eagle Security is the only firm to have worked on every single property we have ever developed. Our relationship, spanning almost 15 years, is testimony to the quality of work supplied by Eagle.”
Eagle Security faced stiff competition from other sub-contractors from throughout the region. “During our time working for Fairgrove, we’ve seen the high quality of suppliers and sub-contractors that the new homes builder uses,” says Jack. “It’s therefore very rewarding to be recognised among such an elite group of businesses.”
Jack Golds was presented with his prize by Mark Eccleston, the tetraplegic athlete who has captained the Great Britain team in two world championships and the 1996 paralympic games.
