Fairgrove supplies Air Source Heat Pump to Shipley Parish Room

East Midlands, UK [12th October 2009] Ilkeston-based Fairgrove Developments, a division of the Fairgrove Homes Organisation, is proud to have supplied Air Source Heat Pump technology to the Shipley Parish Room Trust.

Fairgrove is an authorised installer for the Mitsubishi ecodan system of air source heat pumps that are leading the way in renewable energy technology. There is a range of unit sizes suitable for most applications. The Shipley installation works with traditional radiators but underfloor heating is also very popular.

“The ecodan system has a 3 year full replacement guarantee and needs minimal annual maintenance” says Richard Smith, operations director at Fairgrove “this makes it ideal for this type of use.”

“The installation at Shipley is an unusual one for us, as most of our work is related to the new homes industry, where we can meet the latest government targets utilising heat pump technology.” says Steve Midgley, managing director of Fairgrove Developments. “The Government agenda to increase energy efficiency in new homes is based on ‘The Code for Sustainable Homes’ of which level 3 will become mandatory in 2010, Fairgrove can meet these targets now.”

Fairgrove can advise on all aspects of renewable energy, including ground and air source heat pumps, solar power for hot water and electricity supply and biomass heating systems.

Installations can be in new properties or retro fitted on older buildings such as the Parish Room.
