Lots to shout about in Loscoe
Derbyshire, [7 February 2007] Following the successful completion of a series of high quality new homes in Loscoe in 2005, Fairgrove Homes has returned to the Derbyshire village to build 15 houses during 2007.
“We were pleased with the interest that our last project in Loscoe generated,” says Steve Midgley, managing director of Fairgrove Homes. “So we’ve been searching for another top location in the village – and have certainly found it with our new development at Loscoe Grange, which enjoys views across open fields on two sides and is hardly overlooked from the others.”
Construction of the development has now started and the first homes should be ready to move in during August 2007. “We’re building a series of homes aimed at families wanting to move to a larger property,” explains Steve. “We know that the school summer holidays are a popular time to move home, so we’ve targeted the first houses to be ready in time for the new school year.”
Fairgrove will be creating its popular Richmond, Harwood, Barnby and Addingham house styles in The Grange. One of Fairgrove’s most sought-after designs, the Richmond has a traditional internal layout, four bedrooms and a double garage.
The Harwood boasts a single integral garage and four bedrooms, including a master bedroom with en-suite facilities. The Barnby enjoys an integral double garage, a spacious lounge and a fantastic en-suite master bedroom. And the Addingham boasts four bedrooms, one en-suite.
Fairgrove’s return to Loscoe is a ringing endorsement of the village, as Steve explains: “When we conducted our market research, we found that new home buyers in the area wanted the advantages of rural living combined with proximity to two of the East Midlands’ most prominent cities. Loscoe seemed to hit the mark, being just 10 miles from Derby city centre, 12 miles from Nottingham and handily placed for Heanor and Ilkeston with their own wide selection of High Street favourites and established local traders. Our previous development in Loscoe was such a big hit that, when land became available, we were sure it was suited to our new homes.”
