Tee-time for Fairgrove

East Midlands, [11 April 06] East Midlands new homes developer Fairgrove Homes has laid down the gauntlet for golf enthusiasts in the region with the announcement of its third Annual Charity Golf Day, to be held on 17th May 2006.

“Once again, suppliers, partners and other local businesses will be teeing off from Morley Hayes Golf and Conference Centre,” says Steve Midgley, managing director of Fairgrove Homes. “It’s a fantastic location, where the golf is excellent, the welcome is superb and the views are stunning – and it’s a great place to catch up with business associates in a fun and informal atmosphere.”

He adds: “Of course, there is a serious reason for us getting together – and that’s to raise as much money as possible for our chosen good cause.” This year Fairgrove is supporting the County Air Ambulance charity and hopes to raise at least £2,000 during the event.

“The golf tournament will take place throughout the afternoon of 17th May, with the first teams teeing off at around 1pm,” says Steve. “This is a team of four event, playing a Stableford competition, but individuals are welcome and will be allocated to a team. In the evening, we’ll be turning our attention to good food and wine followed by a prize giving and raffle. And we’ve got some great tournament and raffle prizes lined up.

“This is an excellent opportunity for local business people and golf enthusiasts alike to put something back into the local community. The County Air Ambulance is a great local charity that could make the difference between life and death for any one of us.”
