A MINI way to help a sky high charity
East Midlands, [31 October 2006] One lucky local resident will soon be the recipient of a brand new MINI thanks to a pledge from Fairgrove Homes to give away a new car in time for Christmas.
“Over the past year, we have been collecting names and addresses from visitors to all the Fairgrove developments throughout the region,” says Steve Midgley, managing director of Fairgrove Homes. Our selection of new homes in Mansfield has been particularly popular, and we have already received 80 entries from this site alone. Later this month, all the names will go into a draw for this top prize, worth an estimated £12,000.”
But it’s not just a local resident that will be celebrating when the car is presented in December. Fairgrove has also honoured its commitment to support the County Air Ambulance for a two-year period by donating £5 to the County Air Ambulance for every visitor who enters the competition before the end of November. “With the BBC Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond making steady progress, thanks to the immediate assistance he received from the air ambulance, we have once again been reminded of the valuable support this service provides to individuals who suffer a serious accident,” says Steve.
The draw for the prize will take place on 4th December 2006 at Fairgrove’s development at the Bruntings in Mansfield. Steve Midgley will be drawing the prize.
The MINI will be presented by the County Air Ambulance crew on 16 December at their base at the Nottingham East Midlands Airport.
