Fairgrove bucks new homes trends

East Midlands, [08 September 06] Last month was the best August on record for local new homes developer Fairgrove Homes. The East Midlands-based property developer saw its order books fill following a surge in interest at its developments in Eakring Road, Mansfield, and Orton Fields, Bramcote.

“August is traditionally a slow month for new home builders because most people tend to head off to the coast and overseas for their holidays,” says Steve Midgley, managing director of Fairgrove Homes. “However, we seem to have bucked the trend this year and have experienced interest in all our properties throughout the region. In turn, this was a record month for Fairgrove, and we believe we’re on target to achieve our goals for 2006.”

Steve says that two of the company’s developments really caught the imagination of buyers. “We’ve already sold two homes in Bramcote, which is a real achievement bearing in mind that our show home has only very recently opened. And in Mansfield, we’re ahead of our competitors, having sold all apartments within the development as well as a substantial number of houses. These sales highlight just how popular Nottinghamshire has become to property investors.”

Fairgrove still has a few homes for sale in its Bramcote and Mansfield developments. These include (in Mansfield) three-bedroom homes with garage in the Barrisdale and Edale designs, as well as four-bedroom town houses in the Elmswell, Earlswood, Buckley and Baildon styles. Remaining houses in Bramcote include the four-bedroom Richmond style and five-bedroom detached houses in the Brompton, Ashmore, Allerton, and Caddington designs.
