The best of both worlds in Bramcote
East Midlands, [29 August 2006] New homes developer Fairgrove Homes has opened a development in Bramcote, Nottinghamshire, to cater for the growing demand from affluent business people for select homes in the region.
Located off Orton Avenue, the development – known as Orton Fields – is a spacious setting which is surrounded by semi rural land, giving the new homes access to spectacular open views. “This location is great for business people seeking the peace of the countryside while remaining close to major attractions in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire,” says Steve Midgley, managing director of Fairgrove Homes. “We think Bramcote is the perfect spot for those in the upper income bracket, being close to all the region’s attractions and transport infrastructure.”
Fairgrove has decided to build just 10 new homes in Orton Fields. “Keeping Orton Fields small and select is our main objective in this project,” explains Steve. “We’ve established a mix of four and five-bedroom executive homes and five distinct house types to ensure there is something for everyone.”
Orton Fields comprises four houses built to the Richmond design, which features four bedrooms and a downstairs study; two of the Brompton style, which includes five bedrooms, two en-suites and a study; one luxury, three-storey, five-bedroom Ashmore-design home; a four-bedroom Allerton-style property; and two stately three-storey, five-bedroom homes known as the Caddington.
“As buyers would expect in a development of this calibre, we’ve paid attention to detail in every room,” says Steve. “Underfloor heating comes as standard on the ground floor of all our homes. We’ve also teamed up with some of the top names in the business to provide the best in all our properties. The bedrooms are designed by Hammonds, a widely respected family firm that has been in operation since 1926. The bathrooms feature the beautiful work of Porcelanosa. And, because homes should be fun places to live and work, we’ve used the LexCom home networking system for telephones, audio, faxes, computers and televisions.”
Prices for the new homes range from £425,000 for the Richmond to £850,000 for the Ashmore design. The show home is open between 10:30-5:30 Friday-Monday.
