First house sold at Mill View

10th February 2004

Staff at one of Fairgrove Homes’ latest developments in Sutton in Ashfield have much to celebrate. Building on a bumper year in 2003, the first property in the company’s Mill View development has now been sold. The home, which features an en-suite bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, garage and car parking space, is one of just six properties in Mill View.

Built as an extension to the range of houses in the historic Dobson’s Mill complex, Mill View is a new-build development comprising four bedroom houses built on three storeys. The houses are attractively located, near to a babbling brook, and have been designed with a master bedroom on the top floor, thereby ensuring that parents are only ever a maximum of one floor away from their children.

“The original cotton mill known as Dobson’s Mill has attracted a tremendous amount of interest,” says Steve Midgley, Managing Director of Fairgrove Homes. “With only five homes left to sell within the Mill View development, we’re certain to see a lot more interest. This is a small development of properties, which are quite individual and maintain the character and ambience of the rest of the development.”

“The property market is still buoyant,” adds Steve. “Many people are now starting to look for properties that they can move into during the warmer summer months of 2004, and we’re pleased that the establishment of Mill View will help meet growing customer demand for unique modern homes full of style.”

The five houses still to be sold are priced between £149,950 and £159,950.
